Act in the present to give gifts in this future
Bequests
Participants and their families and friends who have named The Creative Center in their wills as a beneficiary have benefited our programs in a variety of ways, providing funding for specific workshops and programs such as photography and performance, supporting participant art exhibitions, scholarships for participants to work in glassblowing, paper-making, ceramics and creative retreats for newly-diagnosed participants, as well as general operating support.
A bequest is one of the easiest ways to allocate funds to The Creative Center at University Settlement as you can arrange to give:
a dollar amount
a portion of assets, such as stocks, bonds, or real estate
a residuary bequest, which can be all or a portion of the remainder of your estate after all other obligations
An outright bequest to The Creative Center at University Settlement is fully tax-deductible for estate-tax purposes. University Settlement should be named as beneficiary with notes directing it specifically to The Creative Center.
